Leccino Olive Tree for Sale
Leccino is one of Italy's most widely planted olive cultivars — valued for dual-purpose fruit (oil and table), relatively early ripening and better cold tolerance than many Mediterranean olives. Silvery evergreen foliage and rugged form make it a handsome landscape tree as well as a productive one.
Leccino is partially self-fertile but crops far better with a pollinator such as Frantoio or Arbequina nearby. Plant two varieties if you want reliable yields.
Full sun, sharp drainage and restrained watering once established are the essentials.
Appearance
Medium olives that ripen to purple-black. Good oil quality and useful as cured table fruit.

Planting & Care Guide
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Olives dislike wet feet and are remarkably drought-tolerant once established. Avoid rich, nitrogen-heavy soils that push soft leafy growth at the expense of fruiting.
Feed lightly in spring with a balanced fertiliser. Do not overfeed.
Prune lightly after harvest to open the canopy and remove dead wood. Olives respond well to formative pruning when young.
Water young trees regularly for the first two summers. Established trees need little supplemental water except in prolonged drought.
