Self-fertile grafted trees. Full sun, deep well-drained soil, and a dry pre-flowering period are the keys to a good crop. Not suitable for frosty Highveld winters.

Planting & Care Guide
Plant in deep, well-drained soil in a warm, sunny, frost-free position. Mangoes are deep-rooting trees that need space and warmth to thrive.
Feed regularly with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season. Reduce irrigation during the dry pre-flowering period (typically May–July) to encourage good flower bud development — this is the single most important management step for getting a reliable mango harvest.
Prune lightly after harvest to maintain the tree's size and shape. Heavy pruning is not recommended as it delays the following season's fruit.
