The Pastiliere is a early season fig renowned for good-sized, plump, rounded figs with distinctive thin stalk-necks. fully ripe figs are dark purple with an attractive bluish sheen, and small cracks appear on the skin when fully ripe. the flesh is fine, dark strawberry in colour with very few seeds and a good, fruity taste. Main crop from early January — an early-ripening variety. No breba crop.
